Resume

My Roots

I grew up in New Hampshire, spending my childhood on a lake where most days were filled with swimming, exploring, and creating outdoors. My early years were defined by freedom to learn through curiosity and hands-on projects. When I was ten, my family moved to Virginia, where I discovered new ways to express creativity and eventually pursued a degree in Fashion Merchandising at Virginia Commonwealth University. Those early experiences still shape how I approach design today, with a deep appreciation for process, place, and the act of making.

My Mission

“Through my passion for the arts and curiosity, I work to positively impact the spaces around me in an honest and versatile way that harbors a sense of growth and community within myself and others.”

My logo

For my logo I thought that the mallard duck connects to my personal brand of growth and exploration. The mallard traditionally symbolizes resilience and adaptability while for me, it has become a symbol of self connection. They have been a constant comfort in my life, from when I was younger and would carry around a wooden mallard figurine, to right now, with the mallard decor in my apartment. Additionally, I am a lifelong animal adorer so I find it fitting to represent myself as one of my favorite animals. As I grow and change, learn and explore, I can recognize the constant presence of the duck as a place of grounding and familiarity.
